The pixel phone does not have a physical button for screenshots. One way to take a screenshot is to hold down the volume down and power buttons simultaneously.

The Google Pixel 2 will not take a screenshot if the phone is locked. To take a screenshot, press and hold the power button and volume down button at the same time.

In order to change your screenshot settings, go to Settings > System > Languages & input > Advanced keyboard settings. From there, you can change the screenshot key from the default of ‘print screen’ to a different key.

The Google Pixel does not have the ability to take screenshots because it is running on Android’s latest operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo.

Screenshots go in the “Photos” app.

There are a few reasons why this might be happening. First, the phone could be rooted which would prevent screenshots from being taken. Second, the phone could be running Android 8.1 Oreo which prevents screenshots from being taken without unlocking the phone first. Third, there could be an app that is blocking screen captures on your phone. Lastly, the “Screenshot” option in your settings might not be enabled.
